Horses and Humans Research Foundation
The purpose of HHRF-funded research is to investigate the therapeutic effects of horses on humans.  The broad research agenda includes basic research as well as clinical studies that will ultimately impact the physical and mental health and quality of life for people with disabilities who are involved with equine-assisted activities/therapies (EAA/T).

Human-Animal Studies Fellowship
The Animals and Society Institute and Wesleyan Animal Studies invites applications for the fifth annual summer fellowship program for scholars pursuing research in Human-Animal Studies. Beginning in the summer of 2011 and going forward, this interdisciplinary program will enable 6-8 fellows to pursue research in residence at Wesleyan University at the College of the Environment.

ISAZ Waltham Collaborative Research Award
The purpose of this collaboration is to stimulate new research in the area of human-animal interactions, with particular interest in the role of pets in the lives of elders, pets enhancing healthy longevity, and understanding the barriers to pet ownership.  A total of $45,000 in grant funds will be available for distribution.  One or more projects may be funded within this budget.
